Make a plan

Agree where your household will meet and who to call if you are separated. Know your nearest official shelter.

Three days of water and non-perishable food, medicines, flashlight, batteries, first-aid kit, copies of important documents, and cash.

Keep a battery or hand-crank radio. Follow ZIZ and official government channels. Check this page for active alerts.

Secure loose items, shutter windows, and move valuables above expected flood levels when a warning is issued.

Check on elderly relatives, people with disabilities, and anyone who may need extra help to evacuate.
